Have a website or a blog and want to
embed Facebook photos? I have seen people uploading photos on Facebook
as well as on websites. It’s always better not to have too many images
in your blog or website as having multiple photos can consume more space
and will increase your webpage load time. Instead combine the images into one.
What if your friend has uploaded a photo and you want to embed that photo in your website. Just request your friend for the code to embed and then use this code in your website. Here is how you do it:
- Login to Facebook, navigate to photos.
- Open that photo that you want to embed in a new tab and this will open the photo in old Facebook photo style instead of the new default Photo viewer.
- To the bottom right corner, just below the photo you will have an option to ‘Embed Post’. Click on it to get the code for that particular photo that you want to embed in your website or blog.
- Copy this code and paste it in your blog. Click on save and once published, your Facebook photo will appear on your blog. People can like your photo, share, comment on this photo which will appear on your Facebook photo.
Note that the photos have to be made
public so that it’s view able to public when you share it on your blog
or website. This is helpful when you want to share Facebook Page photos on your or other’s website as most of the credit will go to the Facebook Page owner. So, next time if someone wants to share your Facebook photos in their blog, share the code instead of photo.
