Facebook is not only a great way to keep in touch with friends and
family, it can be a great way to share photos. Uploading images to
albums is so simple even Grandma could figure it out. Unfortunately
though, downloading those images isn’t half so easy. If you’ve ever had
to save an entire album of photos one…image…at…a…time, you’ve likely
wished there was a better way. Lucky for you, CNET’s Rob Lightner has
just the tip you need.
Install the browser extension called PhotoLive
and you’ll never have that problem again. It’s available for Chrome,
Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and even Opera and it’s completely
free of charge. With PhotoLive, a button will appear at the top of the
Facebook window whenever you view an album. Click that button and the
extension will prepare compressed ZIP archives of the album’s photos.
Download the ZIP files, extract them to a folder and you’ll have every
image downloaded in just a few clicks.
If this trick saves you time, make sure to share it with your friends.
